Next step for the Fund Friends of KRC Genk Foundation
Through the ‘Fund Friends of KRC Genk Foundation’, the KRC Genk Foundation is looking for additional strength to increase its impact even further. Generous donors can make a voluntary contribution to support the general operation or support a specific project.
The KRC Genk Foundation has the reputation of being an innovative player in community operations within Belgian football. The club is therefore looking for friends to invest in the sustainable anchoring of KRC Genk’s community operations to ensure continuity into the future.
KRC Genk is the first club in Belgium to launch an interactive donation platform to fundraise in a sustainable manner. Anyone who cares about the Genk community operation can make a free donation through the fund to support and make its operation more sustainable.

Moreover, the financial resources collected in the ‘Fund Friends of KRC Genk Foundation’ can only be requested by the KRC Genk Foundation for community projects. This way, donors can be sure that their money will only be used for KRC Genk Foundation projects.
In a striking video on social media channels, the players of the first team of KRC Genk also support the donation platform. They commit themselves to actively supporting the projects and on Sunday, the players will also wear a T-shirt to further highlight the launch of the ‘Fund friends of KRC Genk Foundation’ during the line-up of the match against Standard.
