OM Foundation commits to better school-level education
The official foundation of Olympique de Marseille – OM Fondation – is the community-focused arm of the club that seeks to better social aspects within the larger community. It’s ‘Back to school’ initiative reaffirms the foundation’s commitment to education.
Two education focused initiatives from the club’s foundation have marked the start of the 2021/22 academic year.
With its ‘Back to school’ kits in collaboration with the ‘L’Ecole au Present’, an educational association, more than 250 school children from marginalized families received a jackpot of 1000+ educational supplies that included bags, pencils, pens, books, binders and diaries among other stuff in the club’s official cream and sky blue colours.
Notebooks on specific subjects – science and art history – have been distributed under the “extracurricular workbook” initiative for students and teachers.
This is the 3rd edition of the initiative and the previous two versions have already seen different subjects being added – from mathematics and history to geography and English.
