Online preparation for the #Morethanfootball campaign

The #Morethanfootball Action Weeks edition 2022 start on the 21st of March and run until the 14th of April. EFDN hosted this Tuesday an online preparation webinar to explain to interested football organisations how they can join the biggest football movement in the world! Clubs, leagues and FAs, and other football-related institutions can register here to participate in the campaign.

The #Morethanfootball Action Weeks are an EFDN initiative and the biggest campaign on community and social responsibility in European football. The aim of the webinar was to inform all interested organisations on the campaign, social media challenges, and available resources and explain how they can promote their CSR activities during these weeks and especially on the dedicated Action days. Previously, more than 120 footbal linstitutes from 30 countries participated, and together we have reached more than 40 million people online and created more than 67 million impressions on social media.

Football is not only about the 90 minutes on the pitch, it’s much more than the beautiful game. European football entities prove daily that they are #Morethanfootball. With their tremendous initiatives in their communities, they help to create a better society. We as the European Football for Development Network want to highlight these initiatives to reach more participants, emphasize the important role of sport for development, and motivate more clubs, leagues and FA’s to join us. If we can harness the power of football and share these social development activities, we can have an even greater positive impact!
