Join the EFDN team!

The European Football for Development Network (EFDN) is looking for a new Marketing & Communications Manager and a Business Controller to join the team at the EFDN office in Breda, the Netherlands.

EFDN is a network of community-engaged European professional football clubs, leagues and FAs that are cooperating in all areas of community and social responsibility in European Football. The network consists of more than 130 clubs, leagues and FAs from 30 European countries and we are growing all the time. Therefore, we are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic team player who wants to contribute to the further development of EFDN and our goal to change Europe through football!

Are you interested in promoting the social power of football?

As a Marketing & Communications Manager, you will be responsible for developing, managing and implementing marketing and communications campaigns. Websites, social media, networking apps and conference platforms are the main channels to inform and engage with members and partners from across Europe. Together with our EFDN Project Managers, you will ensure the communication and dissemination of programmes, events and campaigns. The evaluation and improvement of existing strategic plans based on data and new ideas are another of the key responsibilities. Join the passionate EFDN team in Breda, a picturesque and booming city in the south of the Netherlands, and support us in promoting the social power of football.

Or do you have a passion for finances?

Together with the Operations Manager, the Business Controller works to strengthen the sound financial management of EFDN, as the leading organisation in the field of CSR in European club football. Because EFDN is a Foundation, knowledge of the rules regarding this is necessary. The funding for the projects has to be applied for, tracked and reported very carefully. At the same time EFDN is looking for new ways to organise funding for our work. The business controller is responsible for the daily financial workflows, and for the monthly and annual reports. Daily activities include checking and timely payment of invoices, updating receipts and payments in the budget, salary administration (including expense claims) and assisting project managers in their financial reporting on EFDN projects.

Then we are looking for you!
