LECTURE ON “ANTI-SEMITISM IN FOOTBALL” HOSTED AT FC ST. PAULI MUSEUM
On the 25th of January 2024, FC St. Pauli will host a lecture about anti-Semitic behaviour in football industry at FC St. Pauli Museum.
Anti-Semitic stereotypes are often used in the context of football to devalue and insult opposing players, referees, clubs or fans. In his lecture, Florian Schubert describes the development of anti-Semitism in football over the past 40 years and deals with the motivations for anti-Semitic behaviour in this context.
