Notts County Foundation to deliver HAF programme

Our member Notts County Foundation has been sub-contracted by Nottingham Forest Community Trust to deliver the government’s Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programmes during school holidays.

The HAF provision provides healthy meals and enriching activities in the hope of encouraging improved diets, increased levels of physical activity and higher levels of socialisation during the school holidays.

Emma Trent, Head of Programmes at Notts County Foundation, said: “We are delighted to be working alongside Nottingham Forest Community Trust to deliver this crucial programme across Nottingham and Nottinghamshire. Every child has the right to enjoy their time off from school during the holidays without any barriers to entry. Through the HAF programme, we hope to help as many families as possible to make some happy memories after what has been a turbulent 18 months for everyone.”

Notts County Foundation will deliver holiday clubs at South Wilford School, Djanogoly Sherwood Academy, Highbank Primary & Nursey School and Forest Sports Zone until Thursday 26th August 2021.
