PAOK’s Heartfelt Message: Save a Life, Adopt a Stray!
Tens of thousands of stray pets are housed in shelters, animal welfare organizations, and volunteer homes, waiting to find a family and a forever home.
On 28.09.2023, PAOK, through its corporate social responsibility arm PAOK Action, sent a powerful message of awareness about the issue of stray animals. During the game against NFC Volos at the Toumba, the club had some four-legged friends from the “Stray Planet” charity organization accompany the players as they entered the pitch before kick-off. The dogs that shared the pitch with the players from both teams, as well as numerous other dogs and cats, are eagerly awaiting your decision to provide them with a loving forever home.
Stray Planet is a volunteer organization based in Thessaloniki, Greece, that addresses the significant issue of the numerous stray animals in the city. Stray Planet’s volunteers take care daily, of way over 100 dogs and cats, providing them with food, cleaning, and walking services, while also addressing their medical requirements. We also act on cases of abuse and organize events to raise funds for the animals’ needs and raise public awareness about the rights of dogs and cats.
