Royale Union Saint-Gilloise against animal abandonment

Royale Union Saint-Gilloise and Bruxelles Environnement have joined forces in the fight against the abandonment of animals.

On World Day against the abandonment of pets, Union sent Siebe Van der Heyden, Christian Burgess, and Ilyes Ziani went to various animal shelters in Brussels (Veeweyde, Help Animals, and the Blue Cross).

Most of the animals brought back to these centers are abandoned before the summer holidays because they have usually been adopted prematurely without thought. In the Balgian capital, around 3,000 dogs and cats are abandoned each year.
