Real Betis Balompié Provided with Sustainable Vehicles Following Agreement

Electric delivery vehicle manufacturer Scoobic joins Forever Green. Through this sponsorship agreement, the emerging Sevillian company will provide Real Betis Balompié Foundation with three vehicles that will promote sustainable mobility, enabling the Club to reduce its carbon footprint.

Scoobic, the developer and manufacturer of electric last-mile delivery vehicles, and Forever Green have reached a sponsorship agreement for the 2023/24 season.

Real Betis, through its sustainability platform, continues with its eagerness to reduce the carbon footprint generated by its daily activity. Through this alliance, the club will have at its disposal three vehicles from this benchmark company in the sustainable urban mobility sector, along with two Scoobic Light and one eBox. These vehicles will facilitate the Club’s internal logistics in the transport of materials between Real Betis’ main operational centres and those of its suppliers.

“Joining Forever Green and Real Betis is a magnificent opportunity. All companies are moving in this direction and we have been focusing our activity on sustainable mobility for some time now. We are allies and promoters of sustainability and for us it is a tremendous source of pride. We try to be respectful with the environment and also with the safety of the riders in the cities thanks to the special characteristics of these vehicles, which will surely fit like a glove to Real Betis, which has been considered the second most sustainable club in the world.”

Juanma Rufino, Partner, Director and head of alliances of Scoobic

“Real Betis set out a few years ago to be a reference in sustainability with the creation of the Forever Green platform. In this time we have taken many steps forward, we have had enormous social recognition for this commitment and we are even among the most sustainable football teams on the planet, but there is always room for improvement with small actions. This alliance with Scoobic will allow us to use non-polluting vehicles to transport materials and goods, thus reducing our impact on the environment. These are agreements that give us a plus in this objective and make us feel very satisfied.”

Ramón Alarcón, CEO of Real Betis

Scoobic is a company made up of technology, wheel and environmental enthusiasts dedicated to creating and manufacturing vehicles that aim to make cities better places to live in. In 2016 Scoobic designed the first 100% electric three-wheeled delivery vehicle and, in 2019, the company successfully patented and homologated its first car. More than 50 international delivery companies are testing and incorporating into their fleets these vehicles, which allow 30% more deliveries per hour than a van in the city, with 100 kilometres and a full day’s range on a single charge, zero emissions and resulting in smoke and noise-free cities.
