Discover a few of the speakers at the 19th EFDN #Morethanfootball Conference

The European Football for Development Network (EFDN) will host its 19th EFDN Conference from March 20-22, 2023 at the Benito Villamarín Stadium of Real Betis Balompié in Seville, Spain.

EFDN Conferences bring a unique opportunity for ESG/CSR experts and newcomers into the CSR world to learn from each other and share their insights about topics such as fundraising in CSR, environmental sustainability, anti-discrimination, social inclusion, online safeguarding, disability football, physical activity in younger and older population, or STEM education, among others. The format of the conference includes panels, breakout sessions, interactive study visits and roundtables, and offers multiple chances to network and connect with other EFDN members and experts related to ESG/CSR in football.

Kieron Ansell and Tom Warren are speaking on behalf of the Wolves Foundation during a breakout session at the 19th EFDN #Morethanfootball Conference in Seville from the 20th until the 22nd of March 2023.

Kieron Ansell is a Business Development Manager of Wolves Foundation. Kieron is committed to making a positive impact through the reach & power of football. Commercially minded, he is a driven individual with a proven record track record in revenue generation across global partnership space. Looking to drive the importance and narrative of CSR within football as a tool for attracting more aspirational, socially conscious partners. Kieron Ansell is playing an integral part in finding kit sponsors for Wolves disability, and seeing Wolves disability play at Molineux at halftime during a PL fixture in front of an empassioned sold-out crowd.

Tom Warren, a Senior Manager – Projects & Club Relationship Lead Wolves Foundation

Tom Warren is a Senior Manager and Projects & Club Relationship Lead of the Wolves Foundation, responsible of strategizing, developing and overseeing all funded projects delivered by the Wolves Foundation. He works closely with strategic and operational partners to understand local needs, using insight gathered to develop new projects of work to tackle priorities. Besides that, he leads Monitoring & Evaluation, ensuring all project performance is reported alongside the objectives of Wolves Foundation.

Rafael Muela Pastor is speaking on behalf of the Real Betis Balompie Foundation, and host of this 19th EFDN #Morethanfootball Conference in Seville.

Rafael Muela Pastor is a General Manager of Real Betis Balompie Foundation since 2018, with experience in policy design, institutional coordination and field interventions in Asia, Central America, Europe, and United Nations global events. He specializes in environmental issues, sports, youth employment, and social inclusion of vulnerable groups of people, within the framework of Corporate Social Responsibility. He is experienced in sustainability since Real Betis Balompie fights against climate change.

Aslı E. Koç is speaking on behalf of the İstanbul Başakşehir FK during a breakout session at the 19th EFDN #Morethanfootball Conference in Seville from the 20th until the 22nd of March 2023.

Aslı E. Koç is a head of Marketing, International Partnerships and Sustainability of the İstanbul Başakşehir FK completing her 4th year. She acted as Event Manager and Project manager in agencies, international companies and international sports events such as WTA Championship, Euroleague F4, Indoor Athletism Championship including festivals and concerts. Aslı E. Koç’s role in football started in beIN Media Türkiye when she worked with LaLiga in corporate comms. She is also a member of Commercial Working Group in European Club Association for 4 years including a member of Education Advisory Panel.
