Free training course to empower young volunteers

Are you interested in volunteerism and volunteering in sports organisations and activities? If your answer is “YES”, this is the right programme for you! Don’t waste any time. Apply NOW and be one of the selected participants in this first virtual EYVOL training course taking place between March and May 2021. Within a total of 8 weeks, you will acquire new skills and develop your knowledge.

EYVOL is a transnational and multi-sectoral cooperation initiative co-funded by the European Union within the Erasmus+ programme, involving partners from the Olympic Movement, the United Nations, Academia and civil society, working together to develop and implement innovative educational methods to train young volunteers on how to utilise sport to promote inter-cultural dialogue, peace and socio-economic development.

The main objective of the training course is to empower young volunteers to carry out volunteer activities using sport as a tool for social inclusion and to develop transversal-skills for employability. EYVOL’s tailor-made course is structured in eight different training modules. Each module will be delivered weekly with a duration of 2 hours by one of EYVOL’s partners from March till May 2021.

Selection criteria:

  • 1. You are 18+ years of age
  • 2. Desire to expand your knowledge on sport volunteerism for social inclusion
  • 3. ready to acquire a new set of skills
  • 4. Confident demand of English language
  • 5. commit time (voluntarily) for the duration of the course
  • 6. duly completed application and submitted by the deadline
