Getafe CF Joint Traning Session with Walking Football and Genuine Team
Getafe CF’s Walking Football and Genuine team held a joint training session on latest training day, in which the Genuine were able to learn first-hand about this new soccer practice from the hand of Getafe’s coordinator Ángela Macías. As Walking Football team was excited to have new faces for their practise session.
From their last phase in Barcelona, Getafe CF Genuine team was motivated and eager to see and learn different techniques and practices. At first the boys were expectant, because they did not know that you could play football on foot, after an explanatory talk at the beginning by the coordinator they quickly grasped the dynamics of the practice and integrated optimally into the group. Playful exercises, ball driving, passes, and the final match is what was done in latest training session.
The Getafe Walking Football players were delighted to have a different training session, and that the Genuine were also interested in their modality. This was giving more motivation to the Walking Football team to show more of their modalities and practices. Walking Football also took the opportunity to congratulate the Getafe CF Genuine players after the great phase achieved in Barcelona, with plenty of victories. In general, it was a really successful session which both teams are eager for the next joint session where they can keep learning new practices from each other.
