Newman College raises money for European Powers up Ukraine Project!
NAC Maatschappelijk got involved in the project in Ukraine. In cooperation with a school in Breda, a sponsor run was organised for the: European Football Powers Up Ukraine project. Dozens of pupils from the Newman College in Breda gave their all for this.
The students raised more than €1,500. An amount they can be more than proud of and an amount that can also make a difference for people in Ukraine.
They raised money for the project that finances generators and brings them to Ukraine. The project should ensure that at least 160 generators leave for Ukraine in the coming period. These can serve for heat in the cold period that people in Ukraine are now facing.
The generators will first be sent to Warsaw after which they will be sent from there to different places in Ukraine. In this way, the generators should reach the right places in the country.
