Olympique Lyonnais wins prize for employment initiative

Jean-Michel Aulas, President of Olympique Lyonnais and Abdel Belmokadem, President of Nes & Cité, travelled to Paris in November to receive the first prize in the “Top 10 Diversity Recruiters” competition which was organised by the Mozaik HR Foundation.

The prize rewards the employment initiatives that are carried out by the club since many years. Olympique Lyonnais and OL Fondation want to promote equal opportunities and equal access to employment through a collaboration with a local organisation, Nes & Cité, and with the major support of a governmental organisation, Pôle emploi.

Since October 2016, Olympique Lyonnais has been using the Groupama Stadium to organise job forums several times a month to facilitate meetings between candidates and recruiters. In the past 3 years, the football club has hosted more than 60 events and generated more than 2,000 hires.

“We are proud that we have created this project with Abdel Belmokadem from Nes & Cité. This concept does not exist in any other stadium in Europe”, said Jean-Michel Aulas.
