Rosenborg against bullying

Rosenborg has engaged in the fight against bullying. The club will visit six schools in the Trondheim area this spring, with the first being Rosenborg Youth School.

In cooperation with MOT, an organisation that aims to improve the social environment and basic quality of life of young people, Rosenborg has put an extra focus on the fight against bullying. On May 7, Rosenborg players Tore Reginiussen and Nicklas Bendtner took the trip to Rosenborg Youth School, the first of a total of six school visits this year.

460 students were in place when the guys entered the scene together with MOT’s Ambassador Ingrid Ness Rolland.

“It was a very pleasant start of the day. The meeting was fantastic and we presented some important challenges for the students. Bullying is terrible for the one who experiences it, and that’s one thing I am passionate about”, says Tore Reginiussen.

Both Nicklas and Tore shared self-experienced stories about bullying from their upbringing and discussed the importance of standing up for each other.

In addition, there was an additional focus on cyber bullying, that is also an increasing problem among young people.
