The LFC Foundation celebrated its first inaugural Community Awards

The aim of the Community Awards is to champion the participants, volunteers and partners that demonstrate LFC Foundation’s and the club’s core values

On Thursday 7th July 2022, LFC Foundation invited guests of the award ceremony to Anfield stadium to celebrate all of their hard work and commitment to the charity over the past 12 months. Special guest and former Red, Chris Kirkland presented the awards alongside our Head of Youth and Skills, Gemma Smith.

“I’m proud to have welcomed all of our community champions to Anfield to celebrate our community awards. In order to succeed, we need support from coaches and staff in classrooms, on football pitches, in community centres and workspaces; but also, from our participants and supporters who attend our programmes, and help us to fundraise and promote social action.”

Matt Parish, LFC Foundation chief executive

Liverpool Foundation has shown a great impact on its community. Check out their annual report here.
