Ajax raise money for hospital on charity matchday
Our member AFC Ajax will play against Sparta on Sunday, January 19, 2020. This is not just a match day like all 16 other home games in the Eredivisie. Ajax – Sparta is all about Charity Matchday. Money for the Ajax Foundation will be raised among the supporters.
The proceeds from Charity Matchday are used to offer children in the Emma Children’s Hospital an Ajax experience. For example, an Ajax Playground will be build from the proceeds in the Emma Children’s Hospital. The children can play there and perhaps forget that they are sick.
Auction of match-worn shirts
The shirts worn during the competition on January 19 are offered for sale via an online auction. The online auction runs from 19 January to 3 February 20.00. During this period it is possible to bid on the original competition shirts. Keep an eye on Ajax’s social channels to bid on these unique shirts.
