Ajax Gala raised more than € 540,000 for the Foundation
The 4th edition of the Ajax Gala took place in the Johan Cruijff Arena with singing, dancing and good food. The proceeds for the Foundation were overwhelming € 547,570.
Ambassadors such as John Heitinga, Erik ten Hag, Aron Winter, Richard Witschge and Jari Litmanen attended and accompanied the guests at their tables. The culinary meals were served by the players of the first team. And in between meals, guests were treated to thunderous performances by Lange Frans and Romy Monteiro, among others. Afterwards, the guests used the opportunity to dance and celebrate.
AFC Ajax and its Foundation aim to offer disadvantaged kids in (greater) Amsterdam and Cape Town, aged under 19, a better outlook by bringing them closer to achieving their goals. The club and its foundation believe in investing in a society in which all kids have access to equal opportunities when it comes to discovering and developing their talents and enjoying a healthy lifestyle.
