20th EFDN Making Football Matter Conference at AEK Athens

We hosted our 20th EFDN Conference from 13-15 November 2023 at AEK in Athens, Greece. The topic of this EFDN Conference was “Making Football Matter,” which took place at the OPAP Arena, the stadium of EFDN Member AEK Athens.

The conference at AEK Athens brought a unique opportunity for ESG experts and newcomers into the ESG world to learn from each other and share their insights about topics such as fundraising in ESG, environmental sustainability, anti-discrimination, social inclusion, online safeguarding, physical activity in a younger and older population, or STEM education, among others. The format of the conference included panels, breakout sessions, study visits, and roundtables, and offered multiple chances to network and connect with other EFDN members and experts in the ESG in football.

Relive the 20th EFDN ‘Making Football Matter’ Conference in Athens via this Aftermovie. Watch some of our inspirational speakers, new members, shortlisted clubs for the More than Football Award 2023 powered by Musco Lighting and the eventual Award winners: Fundacja Legii of Legia Warsaw.
