CSR programmes

They select a charity partner of the year for every season. This year it’s the Alzheimer’s society of Ireland. They started off the partnership by hosting a virtual tea morning for staff, supporters and volunteers to raise money for the charity.

The club has developed a strong working relationship and partnership with Everton FC. As a result, they are working very closely with EITC and are currently working on activities for pensioners once the pandemic ends.

2021 actions:
  • For every baby born in Sligo Hospital in 2021, we will donate a free Sligo Rovers jersey to the child.
  • The club has held 7 zoom calls with younger supporters (12 years and under) since February. Guests from the club involved first team players, management and background.
