FC Basel 1893 – Partnership with Scort Foundation
The FC Basel 1893 is, together with five other professional European football clubs, a proud member of the The Football Club Social Alliance, founded in 2007 by the Scort Foundation. The vision of the Scort Foundation is to create a world in which children of less privileged backgrounds can have the opportunity to practice sport. The partner clubs use the unifying power and values of football to become involved in socially disadvantaged regions. They build social networks and programs aimed to educate young adults. These young adults implement various sports programmes in order to become social role models. The Football Club Social Alliance also supports the area of disabled football.
