Liechtensteiner Fussballverband (LFV) Initiatives

Making children strong in the sports environment

In cooperation with the Liechtenstein Olympic Committee  (LOC), the Liechtensteiner Football Association implements the project “Making children strong in the sports environment”. Each year, a key topic in the area of child protection (e.g. bullying, social media, addiction etc.) is addressed to coaches, official, focal points etc., and preventive measures are communicated as well as intervention options developed in the event of an incident.

The steering group installed in mid-2020 consists of representatives from the following institutions: LFV, LOC, Office of Social Services and the School Sport Working Group.

Environmental Impact

The LFV is in the process of building one of the most environmental friendly football campus in Europe. With the new football competence centre in 2025, the LFV will have a state-of-the-art football infrastructure, combined with the LFV administration headquarters under one roof.
