Families with seriously and terminally ill children are supported through Chelsea Foundation’s Matchday Wishes programme as well as their regular Community Days at Cobham, which give children and adults the opportunity to meet the players and manager. The Foundation also arranges for personalised letters from the players to be sent to fans.
“Days like this are an important part of the community feeling at Chelsea. To put a smile on the faces of those in need is something we are proud to do” Asmir Begovic
“We look forward to visiting the hospital, it is a difficult time for the kids and their families so it is important we do what we can to make them smile” Eden Hazard
