Running forward

The ‘Running forward’ program came about to coach high potentials of the ‘Through the field’ program.

The program targets young adolescents aged 14-18. They are coached into understanding essential elements of leadership roles, such role modeling, taking responsibility, and methods of instruction and guidance. To put the training into practice, they assist at other groups as assistant coaches, junior referees and sports camp instructors.

In a nutshell:
  • Vocational training for future leaders aged 14-18.
  • Twice a week professional soccer practices and social meetings.
Main learning goals include:
  • Develop leadership skills, such as coaching and presenting in front of a group.
  • Encourage community involvement.
  • Stimulate a healthy lifestyle that includes the pursuit of physical activities
