Aston Villa Foundation – Kick It Out

Kick It Out is football’s equality and inclusion campaign.

The brand name of the campaign – Let’s Kick Racism Out of Football – was established in 1993 and Kick It Out was established as a body in 1997.

Kick It Out works throughout the football, educational and community sectors to challenge discrimination, encourage inclusive practices and work for positive change.
The campaign is supported and funded by the game’s governing bodies, including founding body the Professional Footballers Association (PFA), the Premier League and The Football Association.
Aston Villa has always had a very strong relationship with Kick It Out and supports the organisation’s efforts throughout the season.

Much of the club’s natural work to integrate within the city of Birmingham mirrors the equality message espoused by Kick It Out.

However, our support for the campaign is most evident during the Weeks of Action held each October.
Across the world, players and fans from all walks of life unite to play and watch football.
On the pitch racism and racist abuse is not tolerated and here at Aston Villa it is not tolerated off the pitch either.

Discriminatory abuse of any kind tarnishes the worldwide language of football.
Should you ever hear or experience any form of racial abuse, discriminatory chanting or harassment, call the Kick It Out incident line in confidence on 0800 169 9414 or download their free reporting app from iTunes or the Google Play store.
